This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently teacher special education SST and Geometry when my students learn best with a hands on approach. The SST class learns about life skills, college, budgeting and life after high school. I often like them to play games such as LIFE and Monopoly to get a good understanding of concepts. For my Geometry kiddos them learn with a hands on approach there are many items for them to touch on the list so the can better understanding concepts. I also put in stress and fidget things for them most of my students need to keep moving around to better help them concentrate. I have learned this year more than every we are having to go back to hands on-learning for many. My students did not see a high school campus for almost a year and half. All of the tools listed on here will allow me to better help them grow as a student.
