Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A printer and laminator will be invaluable tools in my special education classroom, allowing students to have customized, durable learning materials tailored to each one's unique needs.
I can design visual schedules, behavior charts, task cards, and adapted worksheets that are accessible and engaging.
Laminating these resources ensures they are reusable and long-lasting, which is essential for daily routines and repeated skill practice.
These tools will also support my students' growth with differentiated strategies and refined materials based on their feedback and progress. Adapting curriculum and creating hands-on visuals, I’ll continue to meet students where they are. My students will benefit from increased structure, clearer communication, and interactive, tactile materials that help reinforce learning and build confidence.
