My Students
Our middle school has approximately 800 students. We are a diverse community school in a large school district. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds but all have a willingness to learn. Many of our teachers are innovators in their fields and are trying to accommodate the needs of all of our students.
Our students are energetic and love to learn.
They are curious about the world around them but also want to have at school. I would love to see more community and parent involvement at our school and have some fun and engaging activities during the school day or after school.
My Project
Keeping students actively engaged during class is critical to their learning. Using Chromebooks has helped to make class lessons more relevant, engaging, and interesting for the students. Unfortunately, like any technology, it either breaks or gets outdated.
Keeping up to date with new Chromebooks will ensure that my students will continue to have the resources they need to learn and explore their world.
My current Chromebooks will be outdated this year and will need to be replaced. Also, they are easily broken. These newer Chromebooks will last for several years to come and are a more rugged design that can take the wear and tear of daily classroom use.
My students love to learn and love to use technology. There is a multitude of tools that are available and specifically designed for classroom use. Blended learning has made my class come alive and helped make learning fun and engaging for my students.
