it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kindergarten students are in a first grade classroom with no carpet to sit on. I would love for them to be comfortable on a cozy carpet during read alouds and play time. These children are so willing to learn and so excited about being in kindergarten, but they do not have a carpet like their friends in other kindergarten classrooms.
I have the most wonderful kindergarten class.
I have been out of the classroom for six years, teaching AIS. Now I am back in kindergarten, and the children are so sweet, so hard working and very respectful to me and their peers. We have now 7 kindergarten classes. Six are in closed rooms; mine is the only one in an open room. The children are so good, you can't even tell there are students in my room!
My Project
The children will be more comfortable with a new carpet. They will be able to play on the carpet, buddy read, and build quietly with wooden blocks. They will be able to dance and twirl around freely on their new carpet during dramatic play time!
My students would love to sit on a comfortable carpet this school year.
They will not feel like they are left out when they visit the other classes and see that they have beautiful carpets! We would really love one! These children are four- and five-years-old. I think they would love a carpet! Thanks in advance for your kind heart!
