My Project

Hello! My name is McKenzie, and I am the head teacher of instruction at my elementary school. We are a community school. Our school is full of rich, diverse students and families who come from different cultures and backgrounds.

This year we are so excited to be moving into our original building after 2 years of it being remodeled and updated!

It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is spacious, clean, full of natural wood, and lots of natural light. There is just one little problem - all of our office and common area supplies are still old.

The goal of this project is to fix up our common meeting and workspaces around the building to match the newness and cleanliness of the building. Right now things are mix-matched and a hodge-podge of stuff. I want to show our students and families they are worthy of beautiful spaces. Additionally, I truly feel with just a few little tweaks, our ENTIRE building will be student, family, and community-ready. My goal for this project is for our school and every area of it, to be a place where people feel welcome, safe, and comfortable! THANK YOU!
