My Project
At my school we do a 30 minute reading intervention, daily. For the students that struggle to read we have plenty of materials to help them and get them learning to read but for my students that are above grade level, most of the material are outdated. We have an entire room of materials to supported students reading but many of those books are quite old and simply aren't interesting to the students.
My goal for the group that is reading above grade level is to still be learning and practicing the skills they have to read, but to also gain an interest in reading new genres they may not pick on their own.
The book I have in this donation is fantasy and realistic fiction!
