My Project

Our school started the new Social Emotional Curriculum Character Strong. Each month we will focus on a different character trait. The character traits are: respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, perseverance, honesty, cooperation, courage, and creativity.

The following texts tie and will help students learn more about the character trait.

I truly believe the best way to engage children is through literature. These books will help foster deeper conversations about each of the character traits. Not only will these books help build SEL skills but will be used to build a love of reading and improve comprehension.
