My Project

Students at our high school read books for leisure to relieve stress and to escape from their every day pressures. Each school year the library must be finished with book orders in early spring, however, students can still check out leisure reading books until the end of May. Students love reading books that are newly published and popular, and many young adult books are published in April and May.

Books that are on #Booktok, Reese's Book Picks and Good Morning America Young Adult Club are among the most requested books.

Having the most up-to-date books at the high school level is important to keep young adults' interest. Students appreciate having a wide variety of reading material readily available at the library.
