My Students

My Pre-K classroom is a vibrant, hands-on learning environment where students can explore and become life-long learners. I want to keep them in engaged. This is their very first year of school, and I love to set their expectations high. I have 18 wonderful, fun, loving Pre-K students, who are learning in two languages English and Spanish. I have 6 boys and 12 girls. They come to school ready to learn each day. they are quick to ask questions, participate and jump in to explore and discover. They will learn to discover, explore with confidence and develop a lifetime love of learning.

My Project

My students need new picture books in Spanish and English. I have 18 wonderful children that are learning Spanish for the first time. We need book to support our upcoming unit about plants, insects and babies. There are so many fun, and engaging activities to do, but we need books to build critical thinking skills which is foundation to learning and educational success. Great books promote a love of reading and teaching my kids to love reading is a big part of my job. These books will be used as read aloud and placed in our classroom library for students to use

My class is active, full of big ideas, huge hearts, and have love for reading books.

There are a few that are still a little shy about speaking, but are beginning to blossom; some will be great debaters in the future. The more you know, the more places you'll go." My students are future doctors, lawyers, teachers and so much more. A love of reading is the gateway to each of them going far in life.
