My Project

One of the most important practices in my middle school classroom is independent, student-choice reading. I have an ever-growing classroom library that keeps interesting books within easy reach for my students. There is something in my collection for everybody! It is easier to find just the right book for each student when the books are organized.

My classroom needs lots of storage for the wonderful classroom library full of books.

We need new baskets and bookshelves for storing and organizing the books. I want to be able to ask a student what they want to read and tell them where to look for their new favorite book!
