Help me give my students some new books that we can read together in small groups! They would love all the adventures these books would bring.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every day, the kids read chapter books in small groups. We read, discuss, and write about the stories. The kids can use real chapter books to master fluency, and comprehension standards. It would be helpful to have new chapter books to accomplish this.
My goal for the kids is to leave third reading at grade level.
I progress monitor the kids to track them individually; however, I believe with my whole heart that the kids meet this goal by working so hard in small groups.
We team teach at my school, so this project will give every third grader access to these chapter books. Reading chapter books helps them build confidence and it makes them life-long readers.
My kids are the very best! They are curious and wonderful. I love giving them the gift of reading every year.
