My Project
The Kwik Stix, button maker, and art posters will significantly enhance the art learning experience by providing diverse, engaging, and interactive tools. Kwik Stix will allow students to create vibrant, detailed artwork without the mess and long drying times associated with traditional paints, making it easier for them to experiment and express their creativity. The button maker will introduce a new medium for artistic expression, enabling students to design and create their own buttons, fostering a sense of accomplishment and encouraging them to share their art with others. Art posters will serve as a source of inspiration and education, exposing students to famous artists, art periods, and diverse styles, thereby broadening their understanding and appreciation of art.
The primary goal is to provide students with a variety of tools and resources that will inspire creativity, enhance artistic skills, and encourage self-expression.
By incorporating Kwik Stix, a button maker, and art posters into the classroom, I aim to create a dynamic and stimulating learning environment where students can explore different mediums and techniques. This project seeks to promote hands-on learning, boost student confidence, and foster a deeper appreciation for the arts. Additionally, it aims to integrate art with the STEM focus of our school, highlighting the connections between creativity and innovation.
My students are special because they bring diverse backgrounds, unique perspectives, and a boundless curiosity to the classroom. They are part of a STEM-focused school that emphasizes the importance of community and interdisciplinary learning. This environment encourages them to think critically, collaborate with peers, and approach problems creatively. Their enthusiasm for learning and willingness to embrace new challenges make them a joy to teach. The supportive and inclusive nature of our school community ensures that every student is valued and given the opportunity to thrive.
