My Project
Our students love our activity choice PE curriculum. By offering multiple sports/activities we are able to engage more students in being active on a daily basis while giving them the freedom to choose the activity of their choice. With a mix of indoor/outdoor equipment we can provide options for all students to enjoy. Our students especially enjoy participating in the outdoor setting.
We currently received no budget for PE equipment and have to be creative to fund our needs.
With the amount of students that come through our gym our equipment takes on quite the wear and tear. We are hopeful to replace some of our aging equipment to continue offering multiple outlets for student choice daily activity/fitness.
Many of our students come from low income households and are unable to bring water bottles from home to properly hydrate when we are outdoors in the warmer months. By including a cooler into our project we will be able to provide low cost water for our students when we are participating in outdoor games and activities.
