My Students

My students come from a diverse community made up of both low-income and military families. Many of them qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. What they all have in common is a desire to learn and succeed!

The school serves PK-6th grade students who are eager to learn and succeed.

I want my media center to be a place where students can come to explore and learn in a positive way. They deserve materials that are of high quality and high interest to engage them and motivate them to be the best they can be.

My Project

My students are in desperate need of new reading materials. Many of the books in our collection are outdated or need refreshing. Many students find authors that they love, only to discover that we only have a few of their books. I have also had many requests for new series books that we do not already own.

These books have all been specifically requested by my students this school year.

They will help my students grow their love of reading with new materials. Many of these books are already popular authors or subjects that my students love, and I know they will love having these books added to our collection.
