My Project

EB3 is an inclusion third grade class with students with a variety of abilities and intelligences. Learning about neurodiversity helps children understand that everyone’s brain works differently. This can foster empathy, kindness, and acceptance toward peers who might think, learn, or behave in ways that are different from their own.

Understanding neurodiversity encourages children to appreciate diversity in all its forms.

It can help create an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated rather than seen as something to fear or stigmatize. When kids understand that these differences are just part of who someone is, they’re less likely to treat their peers as “other” or make fun of them.
