Help me give my students a sensory seating option to meet their unique neurodiverse needs

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to their speech sessions in small groups. Many have autism and are just learning how to sit and participate in structured activities. They have unique sensory needs, and the hard chairs typically found at schools make it difficult to remain seated.
These cushions will provide the sensory input my students need to better regulate and focus during their speech sessions.
It is well documented that children with neurodiverse needs, including autism, benefit from a modified seating option. I’m excited to see how much this help!
