My students are just happy to be back at school. When we were talking about the pandemic, the hardest part for most of them was not seeing their friends at school (they even missed their teachers!). We have more kids coming back on campus and new kids joining our virtual classrooms. We are far from being “normal” but I’m hopeful we are heading in that direction!
We need sports more than ever this year.
The kids have been limited on what they can do and for some, learning from home for over a year. We have families moving here just so their kids can attend school in person and play recreational sports in our amazing state. Help me make their school experience a great one:)
My Project
Thank you for considering donating to my project:) This was my 1st year teaching PE after teaching K for 14 years; what a year to make a change! Now that I have had a chance to work with each grade level (K-6th), I have a better idea of what my students need. I would LOVE to have equipment for badminton, tennis, volleyball, and pickleball. The package I'm looking at will provide the nets and equipment for some of these sports.
Last year I remember seeing nets strung from the basketball hoops and bulk netting on temporary poles.
We didn't even use nets this year when we tried badminton:( By having durable and easier to set up equipment, we could do so much more! We have the hardtop space to do it, I just need amazing donors like you to help fund it:)
