My Students

My scholars are eager to learn, ready with open minds. Our school is located in a rural, predominantly low-income area, yet we excel each year because of the way we engage our scholars. Through our hard work and dedication, our students will succeed. The teachers and students strive for excellence no matter what their circumstances. As a teacher, I encourage my scholars daily to be the best they can be in all areas. I won't settle for anything less than their best. When we, as educators, expect their best, the scholars are eager to please.

My Project

My students will use these items to fill the gaps in what we need.

Many of my kids are struggling financially, so I want to make sure that they all have what they need to be successful.

Our school asked for a specific composition notebook for my students that was both hard to find and cost prohibitive. Other parents struggled to find folders with brads, that I use, not just to send communications home, but also to make a notebook that will help prepare them for kinder next year. We also need a couple of pencil boxes and "My First" pencils to fill the gap.

We also need some playground balls to use during recess, both indoor and outdoor to practice different skills.
