Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach middle school math in LAUSD. My students are part of the medical magnet where they focus on developing real world, 21st century skills while meeting grade level standards.
I focus on helping students become more independent, confident learners by having them engage in highly visual, engaging projects.
They work collaboratively using tools in order to create, solve, and analyze real world problems.
With your help, I can have a better whiteboard screen so that students can display their work as well as high functioning calculators to help students solve more complex mathematical problems.
