My Project

Sadly, my good friend and our middle school library coordinator retired at the end of the 2020-21 school year, but, happily for me, my lifelong dream of becoming a librarian has finally become a reality! After getting my bearings that first year, I spent last summer massively overhauling the library; this resulted in weeding out hundreds of books that hadn't been checked out in over twenty years, including science books from the 1950s, technology books from the 1980s, and books that my current kiddos' GRANDPARENTS had been the last to check out! That was both necessary and incredibly satisfying, but now our shelves are pretty bare.

I need to get some new, great books into my kiddos hands!

And I'm hoping that you are as excited about this as I am! Graphic novels, "chapter books", young adult novels, audio books, science, history, sports, and anything else that will help my babies find their love of knowledge need to fill the shelves of our library!
