Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students consist of a wide range of personalities that all have one thing in common, the eagerness to grow as students. With your support of my project, I will be able to provide my students with resources for success and to be physically active.

My goal is to help students find a lifelong physical activity they can enjoy.

My students will work hard to get smart, have fun, and will be college-ready! They are researchers, mathematicians, scientists, authors, historians, etc. My students are the future of El Paso and members of our future society. Every day, they come ready to refine their motor skills and eager to learn about their body.

My Project

Soccer season is right around the corner for our school. My students have been excited for the season since the first day of school. Not even the pandemic could stop their excitement. Sadly, I do not have enough soccer socks for my athletes to wear during game days. I currently have socks that are very used and very old. My students really love and enjoy playing soccer every day. It’s their favorite thing to do. They are so excited to start the season soon.

These athletes deserve these soccer socks for many reasons.

My student-athletes are very hard working kids. I am hoping to gain these socks, to bring joy to the team. I know they will appreciate it. I know they would be excited over the new socks. They will look good feel good and play good. These kids deserve a lot, and I am asking for your help to give them that. I know you might think why would anybody be excited over new socks, but when you play a sport and if you get anything new it just makes you feel a certain way and that's what I am trying to bring to my student-athletes.
