This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students consist of a wide range of personalities that all have one thing in common, the eagerness to grow as students. With your support of my project, I will be able to provide my students with resources for success and to be physically active.
My goal is to help students find a lifelong physical activity they can enjoy.
My students work hard to get smart, have fun, and will be college-ready! They are researchers, mathematicians, scientists, authors, historians, etc. My students are the future of El Paso and members of our future society. Every day, they come ready to refine their motor skills and eager to learn about their body.
My Project
Using music for physical education and after school sports has motivated my students in so many ways. From my students in PE and for my student athletes that are in after school sports. They all love to play and workout with music. I wish you could see the joy on their faces when their favorite song is on. They also give me a list full of song request. They need to have music on at all times.
Music has become a huge part of my class; it motivates my student to play and enjoy themselves in PE and after school sports.
Which is all you want as a physical education teacher. Sadly my little bluetooth speaker is not loud enough. There are many times where my students are working out and come up to me asking if I can turn up the music. That is why I am asking for a portable bluetooth speaker where my students can actually hear the music while they're in PE or after school sports. This speaker would be beneficial because I can take it anywhere and I am always on the go. For example I would be able to have the speaker in the gym and outside. It motivates my students in ways I wish you can see. With this speaker my students will be to play and actually hear the music from anywhere.
