Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is implementing no technology Tuesdays to better assist students in building their knowledge, attention span, and writing abilities. In my class, many students are struggling with writing complete sentences on their own, taking notes in a timely manner, and spelling accurately. Through these days, we hope to build up our students more. In my class, students work on paper as often as possible even before this took effect; unfortunately, this also means we go through so much supplies.

These supplies will help my special education students with sight words identification, grammar, spelling, writing sentences/paragraphs/essays practices, etc; these students deserve every chance to build up their skills as they are still struggling so much even after covid has been over.

About a third of my students are reading and writing far below grade level and this new change we will help work in our favor, but we need some assistance in making sure we have the necessary items to do it. Please assist us with getting some new supplies. We are in need of some basic supplies to continue to learn for the rest of the year as ours is almost depleted.
