Help me give my students easy and quick snacks needed to quench their hunger during the school day.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Pate's classroom raised $239

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is a place of refuge for my 30 students. They come from various backgrounds and cultures and are all eager to learn. Though my school is title 1 based on the number of students living in poverty, this just happens to be their current circumstance. Poverty does not define my students or determine where who they will become.
This platform allows my students to have the opportunity of getting needs and resources they need to succeed and flourish in the classroom.
My students are all capable individuals who just need the opportunity to show their greatness. By setting high expectations and believing in them and allowing them to have a fresh start each day, they are able to strive as learners and as individuals.
My Project
Nutrition and regular eating is such a crucial thing for students to have daily in school. They need to be fulfilled in their bodies to be ready to learn and be successful in school. Students do have the opportunity to have 100% free breakfast and lunch at our Title 1 school.
However, there are times and occasions where snacks are necessary for a student's emotional and physical well-being.
This project will help students survive throughout the school day and keep them from going hungry in the afternoon as well as morning.
