My students need as many ChromeBooks as we can get! We have 31 students this year in our class, and eight ChromeBooks. We want to improve that ratio.

My Students

Our school is a special place. It is an inquiry-based, International Baccalaureate school serving a diverse, caring community in a growing part of a growing city.

My students this year are cheerful, curious, responsible, and kind - they are typical fourth-graders!

They also are quite proficient at reading and writing. These students are able to conduct research, take notes, and write up results concerning their investigations into voting rights, planets, and animal characteristics! The students share our computers happily, but with at least four students per screen, they are sharing way too much!

My Project

My class will benefit from every additional computer in our classroom. The students use these resources every single day to perform Internet research, complete writing assignments, and create presentations. Sharing the available computers with three or four other students can be done, but those ratios limit flexibility and efficiency in our classroom.

I am greedy for my students and I want them to have the tools they need to maximize their time in fourth grade!

My kids will use these ChromeBooks to increase their ability to type, compose, research, and report. Thank you for helping with this project.
