My Students
My students live in high poverty sections of the city, and they attend an urban public school. They face many hardships outside of school that make it challenging for them to stay focused on the importance of education. However, they take great pride in their work and strive to be successful.
My students have enormous potential that they will reach with encouragement and motivation.
They continuously make me proud! School is where they feel safe and where they can formulate positive relationships that help guide them toward success!
My Project
In our busy classroom students are not always working on the same assignments simultaneously. These headphones will enhance student success by supporting the differentiated instruction that constantly takes place in our class.
My students will be able to work at their own pace while focusing on individualized projects without distracting others.
In addition to individualized projects/assignments, my students will use these headphones to access several digital assessments throughout the year. My students will also use them to access audible books, music, and several interactive math and ELA apps. These are a necessity for our class and yet they are never supplied to us.
