Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Children learn through exploration, so it is cucial for them to be exposed to a variety of tools to help them succeed in school. Teachers need to exhibit a variety of learning experiences to make educational exposure permanent. These experiences need to be meaningful!
Creating an engaging classroom, students will have experiences that will last a lifetime.
Obtaining "new" materials for my classroom should create an engaging learning environment. Teachers educational resources go through wear and tear, so obtaining new materials with todays' current standards are exceedingly beneficial.
My Project
New materials for my students to use such as: Phonics Instant Learning Centers (help practice foundational basic skills), Tricky Words and Phrases (review vocabulary words which are an important aspect to reading), and journal writing books to help incorporate interactive reference activities and strategies that are meaningful and permanent.
Donations given for this project will assist in student interest with new materials.
Innovations in education are constantly changing, and after many years of teaching materials break, things get lost, and academic standards change. Just like marathon runners they need to replace their sneakers, students require resources needs to learn better.
