Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the summer, there was construction being done, and in the process, our main cleaning supplies went missing!
The materials requested are a necessity in the art room.
I am requesting a Swiffer Wet Mop kit and its accessories, a large push broom, and a dust pan.
I teach 7 sections of art, so you can only imagine how much art the room generates! The same can be said for garbage.
Each semester, I have students volunteer to help sweep and mop before class ends. They are wonderful examples to their peers of what a good citizen is. They are also given community service hours for this. Students will use these supplies daily.
