Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year's students are a fun loving bunch, eager to learn and appreciate experiences that make learning exciting. Our students come from a very diverse neighborhood and need all opportunities that will bring subjects to life.

They are curious and learn through all their senses.

Our students love movement and song. They get involved in projects and can be easily engaged in academic activities. Our school has a great focus hands on activities to help inspire and move students forward.

My Project

This magazine subscription will enhance our curriculum by giving the students access to information in a more fun and exciting Modality. Students will be able to use the information in the magazines to drive their own instruction as well as to compare, prove and formulate questions about what they are learning and what they would like to learn more about.

Having a variety of sources helps them become more informed learners.

Students can engage in active discussion with peers and family regarding the information they are learning. The magazines also demonstrate for them that useful information can be gained from a variety of accessible and interesting sources.
