I am excited to announce the creation of a mentoring program for students at our middle school which is located in a low-income area. Many of our students have parents who are absent or may not have completed their educational journey. This initiative aims to provide our students with the guidance, support, and positive role models they need to thrive both academically and emotionally. Our mentors will work closely with students to build confidence, set goals, and overcome challenges, fostering a sense of resilience and determination.
Our mentors are volunteering their time and we want to help ease the burden of cost to them as they effectively guide students through their academic years, helping them achieve their full potential.
We are seeking support with basic supplies such as notebooks, pens, as well as other motivational materials. These resources are crucial for creating an engaging and supportive partnership where our mentors can help students focus on their growth and development.
