My Project
I just started a natural resource class for grades K-6 at K Elementary school. I will serve five classes (730 students) from each grade level, teaching about where good sounds come from and what natural resources are. Due to so many students coming to my class, I would like a classroom environment where students feel comfortable and inviting. I would like it to be functional by having stools and bookstands since so many students will be coming to class.
The stools will be used for comfort, flexibility, and engagement.
They provide comfort and seating options during class. They are also flexible for easy movement and rearrangement for group work.
The book stands will be used for accessibility, organization, and ergonomics. Accessibility since it will display all the picture books used for the lessons, where students can use them for reference. It will allow the organization for the students to see the covers of all the books used for the lessons. Finally, for ergonomics, it supports better posture, reducing strain for reading.
