This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are amazing! They come to school each day with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. All of our students work hard each day, however, some have to work harder than others.

Learning a new language is hard.

Having Spanish language books in our library that kids will want to read can help. Continuing to build on literacy in a student's native language can assist them with transferring knowledge into English.

These books will help my students feel welcome. They will be available to all students who want to read in Spanish.
