National Junior Art Honor Society Membership For Talented Art Students
Help me give my students membership in The National Junior Art Honor Society for students at this title one school that really cannot afford the fee to be a member.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are starting The National Junior Art Honor Society for advanced 8th grade art students at this title one school. Students will meet twice a month and plan community service with their art for the school community.
Advanced art students will meet with friends that have an interest in art and learn about careers in art, use their art for community service and learn advanced art skills that they don't learn in the art classes.
This Donor Choose grant is for the dues each art student must pay to join NJAHS. This is a title one school and not something their parents can afford. This is a School club that will meet twice a month to begin with and see what students want to do with their art, their community and how they can use their art to enhance the school community.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
