My students come to school to learn. They look for and desire to explore, determined to find an experience. They are beginning to understand the wonderful experience a good book can offer!
I teach in a Title I school where 100% of the school is on free lunch.
My students live in a high poverty area. Access to literacy and supplies are key to their success and such access begins and ends within our school walls. There are many things they will never be able experience in real life that, with your help, I can offer. Please help me expose them to as many experiences as possible!
My Project
My students need Nabi tablets in our classroom to expand their knowledge in a digital world. Learning at the collegiate level has made a wide spread move to hybrid or online learning. Using a Nabi in first grade will set them up to use software to learn with teacher support, creating a much needed foundation of advanced learning.
I want to give my students exposure to the same type of learning that colleges offer at an early age to promote higher levels of learning.
Nabi's are preloaded with reading, writing, and math software to promote these experiences. If I am not able to provide these experiences, they simply will not happen.
