My Project

My learners love doing science. We want to end the year strong, so we are requesting glue and activator to make slime in the classroom. We are also asking for Mentos so we can see what happens when you add them to different types of sodas. Will it really create a 'fountain effect' when they are combined? The folders will help organize materials and track observations this year, as well as provide basic materials to start the year off on the right foot next year. This can be an enormous help in preventing and/or reducing stress and anxiety for children starting a new school year.

With your help, we can end the year with fun and memorable STEM activities.

Creating slime is a sensory activity that can be calming when learners are stressed or feeling over-stimulated. It has value as a science activity, artistic outlet, and social-emotional strategy. Please consider helping my students learn a variety of skills and have fun at the same time.
