Mystery Student Reward Candy

Help me give my students lots of starbursts and mints to reward good behavior (20 lbs) as well as stickers for the kids who can not eat candy.

My Students

I teach almost 500 kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade students in Kansas. 35% of my students receive a free or reduced-price breakfast and/or lunch. There are also many special education students and ELL students (English language learners). I try to find new and interesting ways to help my students learn using music and other subject areas

My Project

I pick two mystery students at the beginning of every class and reward those students with a piece of candy if they have done a good job. If the student can not eat candy they can get a sticker. My kids love this special surprise.

I have about 400 students so the price of candy does add up, but your donation would help me to give these special treats to my students throughout the year.

I know they love getting this reward and many students are proud to go home and tell their parents that they were the mystery student in music class!
