Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching kids with special needs it's so grateful. As a teacher, it's really important for me that my students have a space where they can go and have fun but also a space that represent calm for them when they are deregulated. I already see how much this space it's going to be helpful for them in their daily interaction to reduce stress, anxiety, etc. This space will make a huge difference in our learning process every day. Kids feel so relaxed and happiest when they are in a comfortable space. My goal with this space is to give the students the opportunity to release energy and also use it as a social space they can share and learn more about social skills or any class they are taking in the moment.
