This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is transforming from individual desks to group tables. The students need storage for their materials and books. Having their bins will help them stay organized and ready to learn. It will also provide easy access and quick transitions throughout the day.
The students will benefit from the responsibility of keeping their supplies neat and complete.
Also, sitting together at a table will develop teamwork skills, and will promote socio-emotional skills as well.
The students will be able to find what they need when needed. It will minimize movement and distractions in the classroom.
