This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a District 75 High School in the Bronx, New York. I have a 6:1:1 classroom who lives in the Bronx and have been diagnosed with autism. Some students are primarily non-verbal.
My students in my classroom enjoy using technology.
This idea would support my students with learning and also with their interests. It would provide access to visuals, videos, hands-on activities, online quizzes, and online-based game support. Tablets in the classroom will enable my students to learn new skills, working independently, in small groups, or in teams.
