My Students Need Video Production Equipment for Classes

Help me give my students the video production equipment they need for their classes and our Mustang TV Newscast at MEHS in Memphis, Tennessee.

My Project

As an instructor at MEHS, I am highly committed to the educational advancement of students enrolled in the Audio Video Production Program and the Audio Video Production Classes.

We (my broadcasting students and I) are requesting a grant donation to purchase much-needed video production equipment the students will use for their daily news show, sporting interviews, school board member sit-down interviews, and other events within the mid-south.  

I instruct some amazing students at MEHS but I do have some students who are at-risk teenagers. I also have some students who suffer from low self-esteem, and I want to do as much as possible to help my student learners with opportunities that will help aid in their educational success and that is why I am asking for support in the form of a grant from your organization.

I try to exhaust all of the avenues to ensure that my students in Audio Video Productions students are exposed to every opportunity that enables them to learn and establish competence in the different components of film and television.

I serve as an advocate for the students to learn the successful opportunities being given to every learner in our program.

We have worked assiduously to bridge the gap in education for all students and to ensure an elevated level of rigor in each Audio Video Production course here at MEHS. My goal is to guarantee that all students can access and participate in high-quality education programs and that they are exposed to a host of real-life work experiences outside of the classroom.
