My Students Need Hands on Science!

Help me give my students hands on science opportunities to grow as scientists.

My Project

The curriculum I use doesn't have a lot of hands on science and these supplies are great opportunities for them to get different hands on experiences.

My students light up when they get to see the science they have been studying in action!

Included in this project are squishy circuits, where students learn about electric circuits by bringing their modeling dough creations to life! They get to use motors, LED lights, fans, and more. They also get to learn solar panels by creating solar panel cockroaches, which connects to our "Earth's Changing Climate" unit. Finally, students explore more properties of circuits when they use their own body to complete the circuit with Steve Spanglers Energy Stick.

My students will get to see themselves as scientists working on a problem that affects them today!
