My Students
I am working with a self-contained classroom with 12 hard-working and motivated students who need specialized instructions and attention. All of them qualified for free lunch. They are sweet and eager to learn anything new, and from whom I also learn their unique characters and cultures. They love to participate in class activities and present their work in the front of the classroom. As an educator, I want to facilitate their learning by providing everything they need.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic to present their work on our Smart board. They present what they learn in the front of the classroom. For example, in an ELA class, students are asked to write one story collaboratively. Each student comes to the front to write on the Smart board. However, it is difficult to write on the Smart board since it lags and does not work well so that we waste a great amount of time on it.
An Electronic writing pad and drawing tablet that are connected to a laptop will solve this problem as it is much easier to write on the pad then show on the Smart board.
It will save us a lot of instructional time in the classroom. I believe that my students will be thrilled to show their work on the Smart board by writing on the electronic pad.
