This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
While some students can afford to go out and purchase a book to have the author personalize and autograph it, many others cannot. My students have been reading Breaking Through, by Francisco Jimenez, and will have the opportunity to meet him in person. They would be so appreciative of being able to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and acquire a small token of the special encounter with an author. Thank you for considering my students for this opportunity. They will cherish this gift more than I can begin to express.
