My Students
I work at an amazing school. Our community is close-knit, and many, like myself, grew up in our town. My students represent all different backgrounds, socio-economic status, and ethnicities. The staff works hard to provide meaningful instruction and memories that will last a lifetime.
My students are encouraged to be learners!
It's my goal to instill a love of learning through inquiry, exploration, and reading. I feel that books in their hands give them the greatest chance to go on an adventure, meet new people, or travel to faraway places.
My Project
With our school year starting off virtually, students need materials that aren't often requested or required. They will all be learning via live stream until it is safe for us to ALL be together. Stylus pens will help them edit writing, mark text for reading, and work out math problems live time.
It's a new way of learning, but we are all up for the challenge!
Interactive lessons to hold engagement, coupled with fun games they participate in, should help this year feel like any other year. We are all in this together!
