My Students Are Craving a Diverse Book Club!

My Project

My students are awesome, and they love learning about people who are not like them. Many of them have not had the opportunity to meet many people who are not like them, and when they do, I can see their minds and hearts open.

My students crave diversity, and I am hoping to give it to them by adding some amazing books by diverse authors.

Our goal is to read them in book clubs, where we can discuss all we are learning together.

We have been trying to read the books only in class, but they don't have enough time to finish. With this donation, there will be enough books for the kids to take them home to read!
