Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my first year teaching these beautiful kinder kiddos at a Title I campus. The kiddos make an effort to attend school on a daily basis, even though this year has pushed us back further before we can learn together in the classroom. Regardless of their own hardships they may face outside of the classroom, they are all eager and excited to engage in learning. My campus is predominately Hispanic and African-American students, which many come from low economic households. Especially considering the pandemic that has hit this year. With this being my first year teaching, I am in need of items to make my classroom complete for both online and in the classroom learning. I would greatly appreciate any help.

My Project

Since this is my first year teaching, I came into the classroom without many things. I have been able to provide some activities, but with more students attending and coming back to Face2Face instead of virtual, I am in need of more activities. I would like to be able to provide group and individual opportunities for the students to engage their mind and have fun!

They can engage their thinking and creativity while using building blocks, magnetic blocks, LEGOS, and jumbo puzzles.

Please help me provide more opportunities for my Kinder kiddos.
