Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Snacks for My Sister's Keeper will ensure participants can focus on discussions. The group requires materials to make the conversations meaningful and the experience. My Sister's Keeper (MSK) is a community discussion group for female scholars.
MSK creates an atmosphere where girls can be transparent and alleviate unnecessary stress.
We need resources to cultivate coping skills. Snacks ensure scholars can focus.
MSK empowers, encourages, motivates, promotes success, and uplifts the female scholars at our school while teaching social and emotional skills. It gives females hope, joy, self-love, coping skills, self-empowerment, independence, and support.
