My students are wonderful at buddy reading with a partner, but we want to make sure that the confidence transfers to independent reading, too. Unfortunately, some of my students don't always have a family member available to read with for that added practice and fun. Having reading buddies will give my students someone to read to while reading by themselves.
Stuffed animals make a difference in the lives of six and seven-year-olds.
I hope this will give them the confidence they need to become strong independent readers.
My students are hard workers and dedicated to growing as readers and learners. Having reading buddies is a fun way to encourage them to read more!
