This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kiddos live in a high poverty area. My school is a Title I school. Every day is a struggle for some, more than others. Giving them the opportunity to do hands-on center rotations lets our tactile learners excel. My incoming Littles are at different learning levels and need as much guidance as possible because they were not able to finish out the school year in class.

Please help my Littles get materials that will help them adjust and continue learning through enrichment distance learning.

I want to give my students distance learning materials due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My students will have to transition into meeting online and working independently this school year. Some students will need their own sets of manipulatives to look at while the teacher meets with another child one on one.

My Project

I would like for each of my Littles to have their own box of manipulatives on hand for learning from home.

With these supplies, they can have their own counters, letters, pencils, crayons, scissors, and centers without having to worry about sharing.

The whiteboards allow me to see exactly how they are doing, as well as providing an easy place for them to show their work.

This would be a great boon for my incoming students to have available at home while learning online. I plan on making mini centers for them as we embark on a new year.
