My Project
I work with students in grades 1-5 who need math intervention to fill their learning gaps. They are eager to learn and catch up to their grade level.
The excitement and engagement that fills the classroom when students work with math tools is exuberating!
My goal for this project is for students to master fact fluency. This skill is essential for so many other math concepts as well as in life!
I find that they are more likely enjoy math while remembering concepts if they work with hands-on manipulatives.
Having a multiple multiplication games allows different grouping options around the room while they collaborate and learn together!
The self-checking kit enables students to individually practice and self-check.
The classic book allows cross-curricular instruction as students are comprehending and remembering the funny scenarios about the facts. The puzzle is great for beginners as well as intermediate as the practice fluency. The book of ideas is a great way to engage the students through creative tasks to learn their facts.
